Resident Evil Village is a first-person survival horror game and the 8th part of the main Resident Evil series. The plot takes place a couple of years after the events of the seventh part, and the main character is still Ethan Winters, who lives in peace with his wife, in a remote place from big cities. Suddenly, Chris Redfield bursts in to him, who sends him to a snow-covered Romanian village, where a large strange castle adjoins. This place is ruled by strange creatures, monsters and vampires, and all the inhabitants have become either zombies or their slaves mutants. The hero needs to figure out what’s going on and defeat all the villains. The game develops the ideas of the previous part, improving them in many aspects.
