Tainted Grail is based on the Polish board game of the same name. The setting here is fantasy-medieval. A dark world inspired by the myths of King Arthur. A sinister corruption spreads through it, turning animals into large and aggressive creatures. On it you can open points of interest, collect resources, find loot, communicate with NPCs, bump into enemies, visit taverns, hunter camps, obelisks and other useful buildings. Some of them will first have to be freed from the control of enemies or repaired.
In the combat phase, the participants in the fight alternately exchange blows using cards. They allow you to apply buffs and debuffs, inflict damage, increase defense, etc. For a victory, heroes earn experience. They gradually increase levels, learn new skills, improve class specializations.
